A Tribute To Don Larson
1941-2025
From The Graffiti Weekend Committee™,Inc.
Don Larson: 1941-2025
Don created the Stray Angels Car Club while he was in high school (1958), and was the Director for many years. He was also a long-time member of the Cascade Historical Auto Club.
In 1982, he was part of a group of car club people (Umpqua Flatheads, Stray Angels and Timberland Corvettes) that started the events that have since become known as the “Roseburg Graffiti WeekendTMInc.”
Although Don never held the title of President, he and others conducted the duties of the office. At the end, he was serving the Graffiti Weekend Committee as our Historical Committee Co-chair.
Don was never afraid of hard work. He was always hustling advertisers and sponsors for his car club, “Roseburg Graffiti WeekendTMInc.”, and numerous other events (i.e. the March Benefit Car Show). He was very involved until his passing, leaving some very large shoes to fill. It’s amazing what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit –which was how he worked.
Wait for me Don, as I wish to race you with my “Plastic car.”
